Travis and I had a very busy fourth of July weekend. We started our holiday on Friday by going over to one of Travis’ co-workers new house. They live only 4 short blocks away! Then, for the second year in a row we met Phil and Adrienne over at the Blemlers (their family friends). Travis and I enjoyed hanging out with everyone and walking to the fire works. The Blemlers live very close to the park where the fireworks are set off!
Saturday, Travis’ family and my Mom and Dad came to our house. We had some delicious appetizers on the new paver patio. Grill master Travis cooked up some turkey mignon’s, salmon, chicken, and brats. We also had some yummy salads, as well as a red, white and blue fruit cake for dessert. Gary brought some champagne to share that he had gotten while he was in France on a work trip. The afternoon was wonderful and Travis and I really enjoyed having our families together at our house.
The day ended with my Parents leaving to drive back to STC. I had to say good-bye to my Accord…which was very sad. We sold my Accord to Ralphie (our neighbor in STC) so I know he will give her a good home.
